Why Home Fire Safety Is Different
In a hospital or facility, fire safety is built into the building -- sprinklers, trained staff, alarm systems, and evacuation routes are already in place. In a private home, none of that is guaranteed, and your client may have mobility, cognitive, or sensory limitations that make a fast, safe evacuation much harder. Your job is to know the specific risks of each home you work in and have a clear, practiced plan before an emergency happens, not during one.
